Science is oddly polarizing at times. People sit in the camp of science means nothing or science means everything. The reality is, science is a little bit of both, yes I said that. It's partly true and partly not ture (not true doesn’t mean wrong). Science and research is about being less wrong more than it is about being conclusively right. So when we read research papers on exercise training and what not, we need to take that mindset into consideration. We cannot take what is written as gospel, but we also can't ignore it. Application of science requires some creative insights and a good understanding of the research area. Together, this gives you the tools to both appreciate the findings, appreciate what is lacking and then use an educated justification as to how you apply it! So tread lightly whenever you come across anyone who is an absolutist in agreement with all or against all science.
